Teach in Montana in Fall 2007

The School of Journalism at the University of Montana is taking applications until Feb. 12, 2007, for the 2007 T. Anthony Pollner Distinguished Professorship.

Allison Kwesell, UM intern, records historic day in Nepal

On Nov. 21, 2006, I witnessed Nepali Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and Maoist Chairman Prachanda sign the Comprehensive Peace Agreement here, officially ending 11 years of war that resulted in the deaths of more than 13,000 people in Nepal.

Competition begins for assignment in Czech Republic

In this groundbreaking international pilot project, three print and two photojournalism students from the University of Montana will team up with a similar group of Czech students from Charles University to do stories about minority issues in the Czech Republic and Montana.

Junior in Broadcast receives scholarship

Amanda Harris, junior in the broadcast department of the journalism school, recently received a $5,000 scholarship from the Broadcast Education Association.
