Native American
journalists must straddle the line between their two worlds, a
challenge that can be daunting. The J-school's new online class,
which aims to increase the number of Indians in journalism, brought
Native students from tribal colleges around the country to UM
in mid-February for an intense weekend of study, discussion and
fun.
