Society of Professional Journalists: Plenty of info on current issues in which SPJ is involved.National Freedom of Information Coalition: Located at the University of Missouri School of Journal, this center concentrates on Freedom of Information (FOIA) issues. Medialaw.org: Not much here that's free, except for libel law backgrounders. Libel defense is a lucrative business and they're not about to give it away. Minimum charge for membership: two thousand smackeroos. Electronic Frontiers Foundation: You
can find links at this site to specific sites on issues such as privacy,
free expression, access and public resources and also get information
about new and developing media. It has an archive list of position
papers and articles on various issues relevant to freedom of expression
