Adding Classes

Through the 15^th instructional day, classes can be added one of three ways:

• 1. Directly in CyberBear
• 2. Registration override forms (instructor signature required)
• 3. Electronic overrides

From the 16^th through the 45^th instructional day, all classes must be added using Add/drop forms (instructor signature required, advisor signature required for undergraduates). $10 fee applies.

After the 45^th instructional day, classes must be added using the Petition to Change Registration form (instructor and Dean signatures required, advisor signature required for undergraduates). $10 fee applies.

Dropping Classes

Through the 15^th instructional day, ALL classes are dropped in CyberBear.

From the 16^th through the 45^th instructional day, all classes must be dropped using Add/drop forms (instructor signature required, advisor signature required for undergraduates). $10 fee applies.

From the 46^th to the last instructional day prior to finals week, classes must be dropped using the Petition to Change Registration form (instructor and Dean signatures required, advisor signature required for undergraduates). $10 fee applies.

Changing Grade Option

Through the 15^th instructional day, all grade options are changed in CyberBear.

Changes to/from Audit MUST be completed by the 15^th instructional day.

From the 16^th through the 45^th instructional day, all grade options must be changed using Add/drop forms (instructor signature required, advisor signature required for undergraduates).

From the 46^th to the last instructional day prior to finals week, grade options must be changed using the Petition to Change Registration form (instructor signature required, advisor signature required for undergraduates).

Variable Credit Change

Through the 15^th instructional day, variable credits are changed in CyberBear.

From the 16^th through the 45^th instructional day, variable credits must be changed using Add/drop forms (instructor signature required, advisor signature required for undergraduates).

After the 45^th instructional day, variable credits must be changed using the Petition to Change Registration form (instructor signature required, advisor signature required for undergraduates).

Section Changes (changing section for SAME class only)

Through the 15^th instructional day, add the new section in CyberBear or by override and drop old section in CyberBear.

From the 16^th instructional day through the 45^th instructional day, section changes must be done using Add/drop forms (instructor signatures from both sections required). 

After the 45^th instructional day, section changes must be done using Petition to Change Registration forms (instructor signatures from both sections required).
