Disability Services for Students is the University of Montana's student affairs office which assures program access to the University by students with disabilities. We coordinate and provide reasonable accommodations, advocate for an accessible and hospitable learning environment, and promote self-determination on the part of the students we serve.
The University’s ADA-504 Team encourages faculty members to inform students of their intent to accommodate them. This notice invites students to initiate the accommodation process in a respectful and effective way.
They say there are two seasons in Montana -- Winter and Construction. This summer at UM there is a lot of construction, and it is bound to disrupt accessible paths of travel and parking. The best response is to plan ahead. Check the Facilities Services construction page regularly for updates.
