Applying for financial aid and scholarships can be one of the most challenging tasks you face as you prepare for college so we commit ourselves to helping you achieve your educational goals.

If you have questions about federal student aid, you can also call 1-800-4-FED-AID. You may want to visit the Department of Education's web site to review the frequently asked questions.

To receive aid from the federal student aid programs, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The information you report on the FAFSA is used to calculate an "Expected Family Contribution" (EFC) value according to a formula set by Congress.

Make sure you keep an accurate address and telephone number with The University of Montana.
