We need your help! We need faculty and staff to volunteer to moderate sessions for the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). More than 2500 students have registered and will present their projects at the conference from April  15 - 17 on our campus!  Please go to www.umt.edu/ncur2010 for more information.

Staff Caring for Staff

Here at The University of Montana we take care of our fellow staff members. Staff Senate would like you to know there is a policy in place at UM through which you may donate sick leave directly to fellow staff members in need.

Toastmasters at UM

Toastmasters International has started a campus staff group. More members are needed. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to speak in public, lead group discussions, among other skills. Group meets every Thursday at noon in UC Alumni Room. Please email David Crowley for more information platoa@msn.com. Thanks to the hard work of David Crowley, membership in the campus Toastmasters group is now a part of staff professional development. Please contact either David or HR for more information.
