Staff Senate Elections
The Staff Senate Elections took place Spring 2008 with the following categories placed:
- Professional Category (C-30): Jo Beck and Katie Dalessio
- Crafts Category (F-60): Marvin Hess
- Technical Category (D-40): Amy Casamassa and Jone Hayes
- Service Category (G-70): Gregg Potter
- Clerical Category (E-50): Lisa Arends, Stacia Graham, and Colleen Hoffman
- COT: Ann Weiler
- Officers for the 2008-2009 season are: Katie Dalessio, President; Darlene Samson, Vice President; Judson Ulvestad, Financial Officer; Cheryl Neilson, Secretary; Renee Valley, Communications Officer; Shelly Hiniker, Ex-Officio
To become a senator, a candidate must have completed one year of service or an academic year-appointment on or before June 1, 2008.
Next year we urge you to consider placing your name in nomination or to select the name of a qualified candidate from the Staff Senate list (Excel file-This list is from the 2008 year; it is for example only. Next year we will have a new senate list.).
The Staff Senate enjoys the support and cooperation of President Dennison and his administration. We are kept informed of campus news and are actively involved in campus activities. Service on the Staff Senate is interesting and rewarding. The Senators are granted release time to meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
