Lorrie DeYott

IT Client Services Manager.

I had tried to create a form in MS Word (the Checklist for Proposal Approval) and got stuck with check boxes. I sent the form to Lorrie DeYott and asked for her help. When she returned it, I found out that because I had started with a Word document rather than a form template she had to start from scratch to make it an actual form! The document was complicated thing--two pages in a table format, some merged, some split--but Lorrie fixed it and it works wonderfully. She must have spent hours on it!

In addition to fixing the form, Lorrie also sent me personalized directions on how to edit and format it, and a link to an online tutorial so I could learn more about forms. Lorrie went far above and beyond what was necessary to help me, with the end result that we have a great form for our website. She has been the instructor for Excel classes I've attended and she's a great teacher too.

Jamie Dixson

Scheduling and Special Events Coordinator, School of Business Administration

Jamie is so kind and thorough whenever I need to make room changes for class or request special equipment. She also arranges special rooms for makeup exams. Jamie never acts like I'm a pest, even though I have to frequently ask for special accommodations. Students most likely have no idea of the work behind making these requests, and with Jamie on the team, they never need to Thank you, Jamie

Phyllis Duran

Administrative Assistant, Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures

Phyllis is the engine of our department, and with her around, we are one smooth machine. She is one of the most dedicated, hard-working people I've ever known. The department would fall to pieces without her.

Pam Erickson

Administrative Assistant, Athletic Department

Pam is one of the “new kids on the block” in the department, but she has fit into her position as if she has been here a lot longer. In this position she must be not only a receptionist to a busy, non-stop office, but an assistant to the Associate AD and coaches of our Olympic Sports, which include track and field, tennis, cross country, soccer, volleyball and golf. Plus she almost constantly has the phone up to her ear, as she must answer the many calls that come into this department.

Pam does this all with a great attitude and extreme patience. She's a kind lady and a wonderful asset to our department. She is a great ambassador for the department, as she is one of the first people the public meets. She always has candy on her desk also! Thanks, Pam.
