EIT Accessibility Audit

A self-study/audit was completed June 6, 2014, and submitted to the Office for Civil Rights in accordance with reporting requirements.

The self-study involved research and reporting about technology used at the department and course level. EITA staff contacted individual departments, answered questions about electronic and information technology accessibility, supported departmental staff while completing the self-study, and developed remediation plans.

Data was collected about the accessibility of EIT student-critical campus processes, IT procurement and the following forms of electronic and information technology:

  • Websites/Web pages
  • Documents
  • Instructional materials
  • Media
  • Software, hardware, and software systems

Based on the findings of this audit and on the findings of a student survey, a Corrective Action Strategy was developed.
