How did you get connected with this academic enrichment opportunity and was there someone who helped you get involved with this opportunity?
Andrea Rhoades contacted me from the academic enrichment program, and she contacted me through the International Programs – Study Abroad program.

What was the most rewarding part of this experience?
Studying abroad in Japan.

What surprised you during this experience?
How much I gained from studying abroad.

What doors did participation in this experience open for you?
It opened the doors to volunteer with the Study Abroad Ambassadors, and  work at the International Programs – Study Abroad program.

How has participating in this academic enrichment experience affected you as a person and as a student?
It has taught me a lot about the importance of an academic career, and it has also taught me about the hospitality in international relations.

Do you have a one-sentence expression or description of what participating in this experience means to you?
Studying abroad will be a timeless experience.

What advice would you give incoming students about getting involved in something similar?
