Membership to the Montana Geographic Alliance is free and is open to all students, teachers, administrators, state and local education policy makers, and other individuals interested in geographical education or the integration of geographical concepts into the curricula of other disciplines.

Members are linked through the Internet, newsletters, and alliance activities and receive educational materials made available by the National Geographic Society and other cooperating organizations.
