Mallory Scharf

 Mallory performed disaster relief work in Detroit as part of her serviceMallory during her AmeriCorps service

Mallory served two terms of service with Montana Conservation Corps (MCC), as a field crew member and then field crew leader in 2014 and 2015. MCC is an AmeriCorps State program, and Mallory worked with other AmeriCorps members to build and maintain trails on our public lands. She also extended her term of service in 2014 to serve on a month-long emergency disaster trip in Detroit, Michigan after historic flooding events ravaged the area.
An advocate for civic engagement at any stage in life, Mallory looks forward to helping UM students and community members find ways to serve in the places they are needed most.
Mallory holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Grinnell College, and is pursuing her Master of Science degree in Environmental Studies at UM, partially funded by her Education Award earned through her AmeriCorps service.
Mallory's office hours are on Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm, and she is also available to meet individually with students by appointment.
