IN MEMORIAL

We the UM printmakers would like to acknowledge the untimely passing of our steamroller "The Great Austin-Western," who on October 31st, 2003 blew a fatal fuel pump. She served us well for two wonderful years, and she will be sadly missed.

Students braved 10 degree temperatures and winds in the process of printing this particular year's works. After printing two works our steamroller died. We improvised and used a lawn roller to finish the project. Over 160 prints were created during this day long project.
