Sunday Sweepers

Participants in Sunday Sweeprs gathered at the Grizz statue.

Every Sunday after Griz home football games, Sunday Sweepers improve our environment and quality of life by picking up recyclables and trash.

ASUM student groups take turns as Sunday Sweepers, and receive a $100 for their group for participating. Sign up your group today!

Information for Participants

ASUM-recognized groups are eligible to participate in Sunday Sweepers once each fall. Groups must recruit 5 or more participants to receive the $100 stipend.

Sunday Sweepers generally meet at the Grizz statue by the Lommasson Center at noon on the Sunday after each home game. Unless you receive other instructions, plan to meet there at that time.

Picking up the neighborhood usually takes about 2 hours. Garbage bags and gloves are provided.

There is no storage available for purses, backpacks, etc., so please pack light!

Please report to the Neighborhood Ambassadors any issues you observe, such as excessive litter at a property, improper parking, or abandoned vehicles.

Sunday Sweepers is made possible by partnerships between The Associated Students of the University of Montana (ASUM) and a number of agencies on campus committed to our community:

Thank you for your generous contributions!
