Erica Henderson, Business Manager

Erica Henderson

Before coming to this great university in Missoula, Montana, I spent my time enjoying my childhood in Central Oregon. I am now in my third year at UM and am studying business finance and economics, with hopes of attending law school as well as earning my MBA. The only way that I can possibly sum up my variety of interests, is to say that I enjoy going wherever life takes me. I do, however, hope that life will include many more camping trips, sunsets on the beach, long tennis matches, and of course hours spent with friends sitting in a coffee shop with a double shot latte in hand. I am excited about this year, which I will spend a large part of serving as your business manager. My office doors will always remain open and I welcome anyone who would like to stop by, even if it's just to chat.

Eric Fulton

Eric Fulton

Hi, my name is Eric Fulton.  I grew up in Kalispell Montana, and attended Flathead High School until I came to the University of Montana.  While I was in high school I participated in; Speech and Debate, Jr. Miss (I was an escort), Student Council, Advanced Technology, Boys State, Boys Nation, Acting, Tennis, and National Honors Society.  I liked to keep busy.

Currently I am a sophomore studying Management Information Systems and Entertainment Management.  My freshman year I worked as a Residential Technology Assistant in Duniway hall, and was appointed ASUM Senator mid year - giving me some experience for this upcoming year.  I am also a proud member of the newly chartered Kappa Sigma Fraternity in the Delta Omicron chapter. As for my personal life...it's fun.  That is as succinct as I can get.  During my summers I usually like to go hiking, climbing, play tennis, golf, etc.  Sadly I gave up all of those things to intern at Occidental Petroleum - however I plan on making up missed time in the fall though spending as much time in beautiful Montana as I can.  Of course, I also look forward to an amazing year working for the students of the University of Montana.  They make my college experience worth it.

Alexander Gosline

Alexander Gosline

Senator Gosline is a junior here at The University of Montana majoring in Finance and Information Systems. He became a member of the ASUM Senate in the spring of 2007. He likes to define his seat on the senate as one "for the students". He is involved in many things around the campus, including The Advocates, The Undergraduate Peer Advising Program, many intramurals, Intervarsity, Catholic Campus Ministries and he is working on creating the UM Men's Soccer Club. If you do not see him on campus, you can probably catch him working at Zumiez in the Southgate mall or eating his favorite food at El Cazador. Senator Gosline is also an avid musician, and you should definitely check out a show with his latest band, "Twinkie and The Cream Fillers" when they play around Missoula. If you would like to contact Senator Gosline, you may reach him by calling the ASUM office at 243-2451, or you may email him at alexander.gosline@umontana.edu.

Trevor Hunter

Trevor Hunter

As an ASUM Senator, I bring experience, dedication, and honesty to all work that I have done and will do within ASUM. My goal on ASUM will be to continue and try to make ASUM more directed towards student issues and concerns. One necessary skill that I have is to not take myself too seriously while involved in ASUM; this has been a problem in the past. Senators need to realize that the work we do shouldn't be for personal or political gain, it should always be for the betterment of University of Montana student life on campus - plain and simple.

Shannon Kuhn

Shannon Kuhn

Ahoy! I am an Environmental Studies junior from Anchorage, Alaska.  I ran for ASUM because I beleive sustainability and environmental ethics are a responsibility of a higher education institution, and I want to ensure actions and business practices that are in alignment with these goals.  I am currently involved with MontPIRG, ASUM Recycling Oversight Committee, and am interning with the Biomimicry Institute this fall.  I plan to work in the emerging field of sustainable business and green building; leading outdoor trips and teaching environmental education to middle school students on the side. Some of the things I love to do are eating, hiking, canoeing, exploring, traveling, african dance, biking, baking, getting my hands dirty, and black and white photography.

Sean Morrison

Sean Morrison

I grew up on an equestrian stable my parents built after moving to Helena, Montana twenty-one years ago. My three siblings all attended the University of Montana, and I enrolled in 2004. I am majoring in English Literature with minors in both Economics and French. I have no definite plans for life after college, although I frequently entertain the idea of writing.

Kip Rand

Kip Rand

Kipling Thomas Rand, Kip for short, was born December 7, 1986 in Seattle.  When he was five years old, his family settled in Boise, Idaho.  After graduating from Boise High in 2005, Kip chose to attend the University of Montana, based on the availability of outdoor activities and a general "good feeling" about the student community and the city of Missoula.  Kip, currently in his junior year, is majoring in history with a minor in political science and is planning on eventually pursuing a career as a high school history teacher.  When he is not deliberating and legislating in the hallowed halls of collegiate power, Kip enjoys reading, good food, a variety of outdoor activities, and the company of good friends.

Ali Tabibinejad

Ali Tabibinejad

Ali Tabibnejad is the most senior member of the ASUM Senate. He is serving his fourth term. He holds degrees in Philosophy and Business Management with minors in German and Media Arts. He is currently working toward a master's degree in Media Arts. As an ASUM Senator, he introduced the Senator nametags, wrote the ASUM Mission Statement, revamped ASUM Affairs into ASUM Relations and Affairs, successfully opposed the shortening of the winter break in 2003 and was part of the effort that removed the "credit cap."
