The following teaching modules have been prepared and compiled into a manual by the Massachusetts Society for Medical Research and the American Medical Association. According to MSMR, Communicating Science & Medicine to Children is "a curriculum resource and speaker kit containing an introduction to biomedical science; a compendium of activities for stimulating thinking about biomedical science; and a set of cartoon slides and discussion guide. For grades 2-6."

Communicating Science and Medicine to Children
The following teaching modules have been prepared by the Atmospheric & Marine-Based Interdisciplinary Environmental Health Training (AMBIENT) Project. One of the goals of the project is to create an integrated environmental health curriculum involving contaminants of air, water, food and soil as interdisciplinary curricular themes as well as ethics and toxicology.
The following teaching modules, prepared by the National Human Genome Research Institute, include specific teaching plans to present the history, facts and genetic terminology behind the Human Genome Project, and the ethical, legal and social questions surrounding the discoveries and advancements of this research.
