Montana court to hear arguments on secret Libby asbestos reports.
HELENA, Mont. - The Montana Supreme Court will hear arguments later this month in a lawsuit accusing the state of wrongly keeping secret occupational health studies that showed miners in Libby were working around and breathing dangerous levels of asbestos dust.
Hundreds of people in Libby became ill or died while studies documenting the risk remained sealed in state file cabinets for years.
