Ethics and Environmental Health

A published author, educator and proofreader of children's stories developed teaching modules for the classroom setting. They are designed to develop skills in verifying facts, interviewing, note taking and writing - while learning more about the historical, sociological and ethical implications of mining and processing hazardous materials. Some of the modules cover:

Modules on Genetic Issues From the National Human Genome Project:
•  The Ethical, Legal and Social Implications of Genetic Knowledge
The Mentor's Manual From the National Human Genome Project:

A guide to help scientists understand the importance of their role as educators, and learn the most compelling ways to present their knowledge and research to students in the classroom.
