What is Griz eRecruiting?
For UM Alumni, Griz eRecruiting is a FEE BASED ($50/6 months) comprehensive career services software program designed to assist with your career preparation and job search. It allows you to upload your resume on the World Wide Web and submit your resume electronically into a database used by UM Career Services to match up candidates with employers' needs. Griz eRecruiting consists of three basic components (see below).
How can Griz eRecruiting be helpful in my job search?
1. Resumes and referral to employers: 2. On-campus recruiting program: 3. Online job vacancy system:
When employers advise Career Services of their hiring needs and ask about
potential candidates, Career Services can search the resume database to find candidates who match the employers´ requirements and forward those resumes to the employer. Employers can also search for resumes of qualified
candidates themselves via the Career Services
website and contact you individually. You can also print off a hard copy of your resume for any part-time, internship, volunteer, or full-time
job searches you may be conducting on your own.
Many employers visit the UM campus to conduct job interviews. With Griz eRecruiting, you can view which employers are visiting campus
and sign-up for interviews. In order to interview with recruiters on campus, you MUST be registered with Career Services through Griz eRecruiting.
Career Services maintains a web-based job posting system that is available to you
24 hours-a-day/7 days-a-week. Jobs are added to this system daily. You can search, view and apply for jobs
right out of the Griz eRecruiting system.
