Submitting a Proposal to Teach a Non-Credit Course
Thanks for your interesting in teaching a course! If you would like to see examples of courses that have been offered in the past, check the Professional Development web page.
The following documents provide background information you may need in developing your proposal.
Once you know what you want to teach and when, complete the Non-Credit Course Proposal Form (below) and submit it, along with:
- Your current resume
- A syllabus or course outline
- Preliminary information about course expenses, including salary requirements
- Your preferred dates and times to teach the course
The form is available in two formats:
These items can be submitted via email or in hard copy format.
Deadlines for proposal submissions are as follows.
- For a courses to be offered in Fall term: May 31
- For courses to be offered in Winter term: September 30
- For courses to be offered in Spring term: November 15
Proposals recieved after the deadline will be considered for the following term.
