Mission:
The
mission of the University of Montana's Community and Professional
Services (CPS) is to focus on the advancement of Montana's professionals,
primarily in work related to health and the environment. Through
custom tailored workshops, conferences, reports, strategic planning,
regional training, and community outreach programs, CPS works to
empower community organizations by providing services that enable
them to increase their level of skill and efficiency.

The Technical Assistance and Training
Center provides training and technical support within the Health
and Environmental Management programs, but also provides these services
in a variety of other areas.
CPS
specializes in working through contracts and grants, or on a fee-basis
to provide consulting services to government agencies, non-profit
organizations and private companies who seek non-traditional education,
training, and technical assistance, in the topics of chronic disease
prevention/health promotion and issues relevant to environmental
management.
