This conference is presented by The Montana Tobacco Use Prevention Program,

Department of Public Health and Human Services to reinforce the importance that every
Montanan has the right to breathe clean indoor air. The conference purpose is to expose the tobacco industry's ongoing tactics to undermine the public's right to breathe clean indoor air; to demonstrate the urgent need to protect public health by eliminating exposure to secondhand smoke; and to show that every Montanan can play a part in full implementation of the 2005 Clean Indoor Air Act.

Conference Goals:

  • Engage decision makers in addressing the tobacco epidemic in Montana
  • Prepare conference participants to engage new allies and partners to work for a smokefree Montana
