Environmental Management Programs

Within our Environmental Management Program, the mission is to provide comprehensive educational outreach opportunities to professionals who wish to learn more about the environment and issues pertaining to protecting and restoring the integrity of our forests and wilderness. Our team is experienced in developing, coordinating and presenting workshops, short courses, seminars, and conferences ranging from conflict resolution to firewise/wildfire mitigation. Since 1996 we have conducted the Forest Service Region 1 Regional Training Academy (RTA), which provides technical assistance and training to 1,000 forest service employees annually. In 2000, we designed and launched the annual Leadership Forum as part of the RTA.
