Immersion Workshop Registration Information
Through
the generosity of the German
government, a limited number of scholarships
of $200 are available to teachers of German.
Register early to secure a scholarship.
The
German Immersion Workshop is open to those with a minimum of two
years of college-level German or equivalent. The registration fee
of $775 (or $575 for scholarship recipients) includes:
- Workshop sessions
- Two undergraduate credits in GERM 494
or two graduate credits in GERM 595
- One additional credit in GERM 495 or GERM
595
- Double-occupancy lodging in dorm room
or cabin for the nights of August 7-12
- Meals beginning with dinner on August
7 and ending with breafast on August 13
Participants should add $60 for single-room accommodations (dependent
upon availability). A nonrefundable deposit of $195 is required
by June 13 with the balance of the fees due by July 11. Enrollment
is limited and early registration is advised.
Participants
receive additional information about the workshop and facilities
in the registration confirmation packet. No refunds are issued after
July 15; however, substitutions are welcome. Continuing Education
refunds all fees if minimum enrollment is not met. Fees subject
to change without notice.
