About

What are UMExtended Courses? The short answer is that these are courses that extend beyond the traditional classroom. From online courses to field courses, from experiential learning to virtual learning and everything in between, we create and foster the creation of courses that encourage participants and instructors to reach higher, to push the bounderies of a traditional education. We offer academic credit courses, non-credit courses, courses for the public, conferences, workshops, and full certificate programs, and they take place on your computer screen, in the field, across the globe, and, well, sometimes in a classroom at UM!
