Course Description:


This non-credit course offers professionals a refresher in grammar, punctuation and basic elements of persuasive writing principles. During the eight online course sessions, students will achieve proficiency and confidence in writing by reviewing essential grammar rules, correcting common errors, and developing essential skills of argument and exposition.  The course features:
  • Punctuation
  • Simple and Complex Sentence Structure
  • Passive vs. Active Verbs
  • Apostrophes and Plurals
  • Problematic Pronouns

About the Instructor: Nathalie Wolfram

Nathalie Wolfram is an adjunct assistant professor in the Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana and a tutor at the UM Writing Center. She received her Ph.D. in English from Yale University.
