Tax Practitioner Institute

The University of Montana School of Extended & Lifelong Learning is proud to sponsor the 40th Annual Tax Practitioner Institute in Missoula and Great Falls, Montana. This institute uses the 2013 edition of the Federal Tax Workbook published by the University of Illinois. The University of Montana is the only authorized Montana provider of the comprehensive book.

Online registration will open in early September.

At this Institute, learn about the latest tax legislation.  Topics will be listed here when available.

Continuing Professional Education

The Tax Practitioner Institute provides roughly 16 hours of instruction. The following Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits will be applied for:

  • MT Board of Public Accountants
  • Enrolled Agents and Registered Tax Return Preparers
  • MT Board of Realty Regulation
  • Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards

About the Instructor

Robert (Bob) Rehkamp, CPA, has nearly 30 years of experience in both public accounting and industry, serving businesses and individuals in the areas of taxation, accounting, and business consulting. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.S. degree in accounting from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He owns a tax and accounting practice in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bob is a frequent speaker for the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), the University of Illinois, and has presented seminars and workshops in more than 40 states.
