Professor Maylinn Smith delivers
a presentation on Indian issues.
The
University of Montana School of Law invites you to the second annual
American Indian Law Summer Program, which will take place at the
Law School starting June 1, 2009.
Students
will have the opportunity to take up to 7 courses in the area of
Indian law, for a total of 7 credits. Each class will last for one
week and students may choose how many and which courses to take.
Academic credit may be earned from several University of Montana
departments, including Law, Native American Studies, Sociology,
Social Work, and Educational Leadership. Each course has also been
approved for 15 CLE credits with the State Bar of Montana.
Professors
from around the country will participate in the program, offering
students the opportunity to learn from the foremost experts in the
nation. Moreover, the program will attract students from around
the country, ensuring a unique and stimulating learning environment.
In
order to promote a fun, social atmosphere, events will be planned
throughout the duration of the program to allow students and faculty
to enjoy Montana in the summer.
