Welcome to University Transition!
Prepare for success right from the start
University Transition is a one-week program designed for incoming UM freshmen. Our goal is to provide tools and techniques
to help you succeed in college and to make your first experiences with college and campus life positive.
Make yourself at home
The program occurs the week before regular Fall classes begin. Click on the University Transition Schedule to see course
dates and the general schedule for the week. Move into your assigned dorm room a week early, make new friends and feel more
comfortable when Fall Semester begins.
