Graduation Requirements

Bryan Simons uses software to analyze data from platereader.

In order to graduate, the following criteria must be met:

a. Successful completion and defense of a research dissertation or thesis as defined by the Graduate School.

b. Successful completion of at least 60 semester credits for the Ph.D. or 30 credits for the Masters. See Curriculum.

  1. No more than 10 credits total for Research and Thesis may be applied toward the 30-credit requirement for the MS.

  2. No more than 30 credits total for Research and Dissertation may be applied toward the 60-credit requirement for the Ph.D..

Credits may be transferred from other institutions with approval of the GSC and the Graduate Dean. Courses with grades other than "A" or "B" are not transferred.
