We encourage faculty and staff to host their association or research conference at UM. Conferences provide opportunities for faculty, staff, and researchers to present and discuss important topics related to their fields of study. In addition, conferences may result in a significant supplementary income for academic departments. The Conference and Event Services team offer paid support services that can relieve some of the pressure of hosting a conference including a registration system and conference and logistics management. We also offer venue discounts to conferences sponsored by a UM entity.
