UM Annual Fire Log
The Higher Education Opportunity Act enacted on August 14, 2008, requires institutions that maintain on-campus student housing facilities to publish an annual fire safety report that contains information about campus fire safety practices and standards of the institution.
The University of Montana is required by federal law to provide information about fires that have occurred in on-campus housing facilities within the past year. The 2024 Fire Log is available online along with an archive of past reports. This information can also be found in the Annual Campus Security and Fire Safety Report.
