IDENTITY THEFT PREVENTION PROGRAM TASK FORCE

CHARGE:   To develop and facilitate the implementation of the Federal Trade Commission's Red Flag Rules at The University of Montana.  This will consist of a written program to detect, prevent, and mitigate identity theft in connection with a covered account, as defined by regulations.  When appropriate, the recommended rules must incorporate/accomodate existing policies, procedures, and other controls.
