To provide leadership in the area of quality of work life; to monitor the implementation of those recommendations forwarded by the pervious Task Force on Policy Development and Revision that have been approved as policies; to develop and administer a periodic campus climate assessment to ensure that the policies are effective and to make recommendations to the Administration for further policy/procedure needs; to recommend an ongoing development program in the area of Quality of Work Life that alerts faculty and staff members about opportunities afforded them by the new policies and that assists Department chairs and other supervisors in the implementation of the policies; and to stay abreast of opportunities and developments from funding agencies and other regional or national groups that foster continual improvement in quality of work life.
