Service Learning Advisory Board

CHARGE

The Service Learning Advisory board is charged with supporting and growing curricular service learning opportunities. This work includes offering professional development opportunities that support the growth and enhancement of service learning curriculum at the University of Montana, tracking and assessing service learning courses, and supporting the university’s Carnegie Community Engagement Classification. The Board works closely with UM’s Experiential Learning and Career Success, Office of Organizational Learning & Development, Data Office, and various departments across campus to accomplish our work. Members of the Board are appointed to three-year terms by the Provost upon recommendation by the chair of the board.
