The Service Learning Advisory Board is charged with implementing and overseeing the service learning course designation in collaboration with the Academic Standards and Curriculum Review Committee. The Board works closely with the Office for Civic Engagement and the Faculty Development Office to coordinate and offer professional development opportunities that support the growth and enhancement of service learning curriculum at The University of Montana and throughout the Montana University System. The Board also assists with evaluation and assessment of service learning courses. Members of the Board are appointed to three-year terms by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs upon recommendation by the chair of the Board.
