Communication Channels on Campus
The Undergraduate Advising Center is focused on student success and development. We provide our varied population of students with opportunities to establish and meet their educational goals, to grow academically and professionally, to extend skills and habits to flourish in their pursuits, and to be engaged citizens of the campus and local community.
The Broadcast Media Center houses KUFM-TV and KUFM Radio. Both are 24-hour-a-day, professionally staffed, CPB-qualified stations, broadcasting as a public service of UM-Missoula. Both stations extend educational and culturally enriching programming: in radio to western and north central Montana, and statewide in television through MontanaPBS, a collaborative service of UM and MSU. The Center provides broadcast-quality video and audio production for campus departments on all The University of Montana campuses, as well as national, state and local government agencies.
Information Technology services at the University of Montana consist of a centralized organization (Information Technology or IT) and a number of distributed services controlled by various colleges and organizations. IT provides a broad computing, network, and telecommunications infrastructure, supports enterprise level software, and offers a range of technology support services for the Missoula campus. This organization also coordinates with the other Montana University System campuses, the local community, and the state to ensure consistency of offerings and policy.

Writing is difficult for all of us. Find out how some campus writers navigate the challenges by checking in with us weekly. Get inspired to change up your routine or just marvel at the extreme tactics of your favorite professor. Better yet, submit your own entry...tell us what works for you as a writer.
The UM FLAT is a student-run sustainability demonstration house. We host events and provide a meeting space for groups, grow a garden and keep chickens, have the first solar panels on campus, and showcase a number of green building projects.
