Nancy Van Note Chism To Visit Campus

Nancy Van Note Chism, author of Peer Review of Teaching: A Sourcebook will visit campus on March 13. Included in her visit is a brown bag luncheon and visits with some departments. As the opening session, she will speak as a part of the Chairs' Workshop Series in CE 203 from 9:10-10:00 AM, on Improving College Teaching. Dr. Chism is Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and associate Dean of the Faculties at Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis.

Patrick Allitt To Visit Campus

Patrick Allitt, Professor of History and Director, Center for Teaching and Curriculum, at Emory University will be visiting campus as a part of the President's Lecture Series and for the Center for Teaching Excellence on Monday, April 9, 2007. His lecture is titled "The Crisis of Teaching in America" and will be at 8:00 PM in the University Center.
