The University of Montana’s Day of Dialogue is a campus-wide symposium

found at ww.umt.edu/dayofdialogue.
Among the events is a presentation by Dr. Manning Marable at 2:00 PM
in the University Theatre. Dr. Marable is the founder of the Institute for
Research in African American Studies at Columbia University. In addition
to Dr. Marable’s talk, there are faculty presentations include the following:

in the planning of this event. The President’s Offi ce and the Center
for Teaching Excellence helped initiate the planning but the program lists
many other departments and units that have helped. It is expected that this
day is simply a springboard for further dialogue and action. All are welcome
to participate.
