Teaching Consultation

The Center for Teaching Excellence promotes enhancing teaching effectiveness to maximize student learning. The Center never evaluates teachers; rather, it is a resource for teaching enhancement. The confidentiality of all consultations with faculty members is protected!

Immediately after videotaping a class, the videotape is given to the instructor. She or he can watch it alone, with a colleague, or with someone from the Center, keep it permanently or erase it. The Center neither makes nor keeps copies of tapes.

Information collected in Small Group Instructional Diagnosis or other consultation procedures is shared only with the instructor.
