Brief Counseling & Groups

Brief Counseling

Counseling is available to survivors of sexual assault or relationship violence. This service is free and typically extends over six to eight sessions. Counselors or clinical interns can then provide referrals to other agencies, as desired by the client.

Fearless Group

This 8-week group teaches strategies to overcome the kinds of fears that hold us back from living more fully and confidently every day.  For example, fears like being alone, public speaking, dating, test-taking, grades, etc., etc., can cause significant distress in our lives.  We can learn to deal more calmly and effectively with these challenging situations.

Group starts Thursday march 6th from 12:10 to 1:00P. The group will meet at the Curry Health Center in room 168.

Contact Marie Villa or Ann Douglas at (406) 243-4429 or by email at ann.douglas@mso.umt.edu.
