April updates:

  • Genre contests: Thank you for your patience as we get ready to announce our winners and finalists! One of our guest judges had a loss in her family, so we’ve given everyone a little extra time. We should be ready to update the website and social media by the end of this week (4/20)! Each genre contest winner will be published in issue #101 this summer; we may publish one or two of the runner-ups as well!

  • Thank you to everyone who submitted work for our general submission period—we have notified our contributors for issues 100 and 101 and are in production now! More to come on issue #100 soon, which should be out by May!

  • All three chapbooks are now available to order online! Please click here or here (scroll down to the bottom of the page) to order Wendy Oleson’s Everywhere, Tony Danza, Javier Sandoval’s Blue Moon Looming (print copies now available!), or Angela Siew’s Coming Home (should be available by the end of April!).

  • Thank you again to everyone who participated in this year’s Big Sky, Small Prose contest! You can read the winners’ bios here: http://www.cutbankonline.org/contests-winners

  • General prose submissions and genre contest submissions are now closed, but this year’s chapbook contest is open until May 31rst! To submit, please click here.

Thank you for all the love and support at AWP—we couldn’t keep this magazine up without you and are so grateful. See you next year in LA!
