The Diversity Advisory Council

Mission

To encourage, advocate, and facilitate communication, education, and relations among persons of various races, physical conditions, religions, national origins, citizenship, genders, ages, socio-economic backgrounds, and sexual orientation at The University of Montana.


Who We Are

The Diversity Advisory Council reports to President Engstrom and is made up of students, faculty and staff. Committee meetings are open to all campus community members. Everyone is welcome to join the DAC email list and the Diversity LISTSERV.

Fall 2013 Meetings Schedule

The Diversity Advisory Council will hold its Fall Semester meetings on the following dates:

Monday, September 16, 2013, 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. - Alumni Boardroom (UC 329)
Monday, October 14, 2013, 12:30 – 2 p.m. - UC 331
Thursday, November 21, 2013, 9:30 – 11 a.m. - UC 326
Thursday, December 5, 2013, 1:00-2:30 p.m. - UC 333

Agendas and minutes will be posted on this website. If you have proposed agenda items, please inform Olivia Holter, DAC Secretary. Please share this information with anyone who might be interested.

The Diversity Advisory Council seeks to encourage, advocate, and facilitate communication, education, and relations among persons of various races, physical conditions, religions, national origins, citizenship, genders, ages, socio-economic backgrounds, and sexual orientation at The University of Montana. The LISTSERV is open to ALL members of the campus community interested in helping UM enrich our campus through diversity.
