Quincie Albrecht

Quincie has been teaching ESL since 1995 and has been at the ELI since 2001. She has taught in Portugal, in the United Arab Emirates and at Colorado State University, where she earned a master’s degree in TESOL.  She is also an alumna of The University of Montana, where she earned a Master of Public Administration degree.

Heather Breckenridge

Heather began working and teaching ESL for the Summer Language Programs at The University of Montana in 1999. She has taught in Korea, in Taiwan, and at The University of Montana, where she has been teaching at ELI since 2004. She earned a Master's degree in Bilingual / Multicultural Education from Northern Arizona. In addition, she earned a TESOL and Secondary English Teaching Licensure and a certificate to Teach English as a Second Language.

Judy Emerson

Judy began working with adult English Language Learners in 2002 through Literacy Volunteers of Rochester, New York. She taught refugees, immigrants, and visitors for Monroe #1 Board of Cooperative Education Services for two years before moving to Montana in 2010 when she began teaching in Butte for ELI. She earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) through the State University of New York (SUNY) Empire State College and she holds a New York teaching license.

Benjamin Kearney

Benjamin has taught English in Australia, Japan, China, Cambodia, and the United States of America. He has extensive experience teaching a wide range of learners, at Elementary level, Business English, IELTS, Academic Writing and Instructional Design. He has worked with the University of NSW Institute of Languages in Sydney, The University of Montana, USA and within the public school systems of Kyusha, Japan and Zhejiang and Yunnan, China.

Anna Lokowich

Anna has been teaching ESL since 1996 and has been at the ELI since 2005. She has taught in Japan, in Haïti, and at The University of Montana, where she earned an MA in French Literature and a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language.

Lee Ann Millar

Lee Ann has been at the ELI since it began in 1993. She has traveled extensively; she taught in San Francisco and Japan before coming to Missoula. Lee Ann holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from San Francisco State University.

Josh Rosenberger

Josh began teaching ESL in 2001, when he worked with refugees and immigrants as an Americorps volunteer. Since then he has taught English in Ecuador, Korea, Nebraska, and Montana.  Josh graduated from The University of Montana with an MA in Applied Linguistics.

Lisa Willis

Lisa began teaching ESL during her AmeriCorps Experience in Washington State in 2003. Since then she has taught ESL and third grade in Minnesota. She has travelled extensively in Turkey, Costa Rica, Australia, France, and England. She earned a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Montana State University and an ESL endorsement from Western Washington University. Lisa holds a Montana teaching license, ESL endorsement and TESOL certificate.
