The University of Montana NSF EPSCoR starts August 1, 2004 and
ends July 31, 2007.
BUDGET LIMITS: There are no start dates prior
to August 1, 2004 and no funding extensions beyond July 31, 2007.
There are no carry-over projects or programs from the prior award
period (2001-2004). The overall 2004-2007 NSF EPSCoR application
was submitted using a 2:1 (NSF:MBRCT) ratio. Individual programs
within the UM NSF EPSCoR vary in their match requirement.
BUDGET: The budget for the entire 2004-2007 grant
period for UM and MSU is broken down as indicated below. The grant
was approved June 4, 2004 for the budget requested, however, final
budget categorization will not be complete until September 2004.
Total budget (direct, indirect and state match) requested
for UM and MSU = $13,500,000
Total requested for UM = $6,900,000
Total Direct and IDC breakdown for UM: $4,600,000
(NSF funds) and $2,300,000 (MBRCT funds)
