Recent grant projects at The Center for Ethics are: "Promoting Excellence in End-of-Life Care" a national program office of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. "Development and Pilot Testing of a Comprehensive Assessment Tool for Responsible Conduct of Research" from the Office of Research Integrity. This project will address all nine responsible conduct of research core instructional areas and will create a tool that can be used for evaluation and instruction. "'Ethically Speaking' Radio Program" from the Montana Committee for the Humanities. This grant funds improvements to our weekly 2-minute radio show for public and community radio stations. Grant proposals submitted include: Mark Hanson worked on grant proposals on ethics and public participation in regional wilderness management. Completed grants include: A grant with the Aldo Leopold Wilderness Research Institute to develop grant proposals on ethics and public participation in regional wilderness management. Completion, pilot testing and refinement of a "Learn Anytime, Anywhere" online responsible conduct of research (RCR) course, through the Office of Research Integrity at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Development of the Master of Arts in Philosophy with a Teaching Ethics Option (MA/T), with the support of the Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education (FIPSE), U.S. Department of Education.
