The
Center for Ethics offers a variety of online courses for students
at UM and around the world. We currently offer three courses:
PHIL
530, Research Ethics
This
asynchronous online course introduces participants to the
common ethical issues that arise in the process of scientific,
behavioral or social science research. It is designed for
graduate students, investigators, and professionals familiar
with ethics issues related to gathering data. Topics include
a framework for considering research ethics issues, interpersonal
responsibility, institutional responsibility, professional
responsibility, animals in research, and human participation
in research. This completely online course allows participants
to learn at their own pace at any time.

University
of Montana students should follow the regular registration

Students
who are not currently enrolled at The University of Montana
should print and complete the Application
and Registration Form. Mail this form with payment (check/money
order made payable to The University of Montana; Visa and
Mastercard are also accepted) to: "Registration", The Center
for Ethics, The University of Montana, 32 Campus Drive #2808,
Missoula, MT 59812-2808.
The
course fee is $260 for 1 graduate credit.
