Since his start as the Executive Vice President at The University of Montana in 2005, Jim has worked hard to establish and grow positive relationships between UM and a wide variety of unique organizations both on and off campus and around the state of Montana.  These relationships help provide people with a better understanding of all aspects that it takes to continue building and maintaining a successful University.  

On a daily basis, Jim works with many of the groups of Associated Students of The University of Montana (ASUM) and has also spoken during class lectures on campus.  Off campus, Jim has spoken to many groups such as the Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce and has presented to the Legislature and US Senate.
