  • Curriculum review - Professional Schools
The subcommittee is still deliberating over several proposals.  In particular, there are many questions regarding the level I proposal to create an online Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership.
  • The Council decided on the following nominations to the MIS Committee.

   Humanities

David Moore, English

Schools

George Stanley, Geosciences
Ulrich Kamp, Geography

Social Science

Paul Silverman, Psychology

  • Chair Moisey has asked Registrar Micus for recent data on how many students are taking 400 UG and 300 UG courses. Graduate credit hours were recorded at 350-450 for 300 UG courses from spring 2002 to Autumn 2005. During that same period 1855 graduate credit hours were recorded for 400 UG courses.

The Council needs to clarify its policy regarding 300 UG courses and communicate to programs. There seems to be confusion regarding whether graduate increments are required for 300 UG courses.

Good and Welfare: None

The meeting was adjourned at 1:02 p.m.
